Powerball International to Change Name to Apollo Resources International

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2005--Powerball International, Inc. (OTCBB:PWBL) is pleased to announce it has expanded its operations to include oil & gas exploration, production, and transportation. The Company has recently acquired in excess of 149 oil and gas properties and looks to further expand its holdings.

In light of this expansion of operations, Powerball will begin doing business as "Apollo Resources International" effective today, and is in the process of making the name change permanent.

The Company will continue to aggressively pursue activities in the area of alternate fuels and fuel systems, and the merger of these technologies.

The ticker symbol will remain PWBL for a period of time until a new symbol is assigned, at which time an update announcement will be made.
