Healthvision Announces Third Quarter Results
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Healthvision closed the third quarter with 97 total transactions, including 13 new customer engagements. “Q3 was another healthy quarter for our company,” stated Russell Fleischer, Healthvision’s chief executive officer. “This is an interesting time for healthcare IT. The US federal government has been shining a light on interoperability and we have solutions uniquely capable of solving ‘meaningful use’ initiatives. Here are a few examples of Healthvision’s third quarter transactions:
Mission Regional Medical Center ― a not-for-profit, 297-bed acute care medical center located in Mission, Texas, and servicing the Rio Grande Valley. They will be using Cloverleaf to seamlessly exchange information between their Meditech Health Information System and various other hospital systems.
Marietta Memorial Hospital – a 199-bed, not-for-profit hospital located in Marietta, Ohio, servicing mid-Ohio Valley. Marietta Memorial purchased Cloverleaf through CareTech Solutions, a Healthvision Reseller Partner. They will be replacing their “home grown” interface engine with Cloverleaf and will use it to further integrate their Meditech System’s environment.
Sunshine Radiology – a radiologist group that provides professional and technical services in Central Florida. They will be using Cloverleaf® to securely integrate their technology to their clients’ systems.
The Claro Group – a Chicago-based financial consulting firm that provides revenue cycle consulting services and software solutions to the healthcare industry. They purchased additional Cloverleaf licenses for bundling with their clinical documentation improvement software to allow for seamless integration of their product into their clients’ environments.
Hangzhou B-Soft Co., Ltd. – a top-ranked healthcare informatics provider in China. B-Soft’s Hospital Information System (HIS) has the most installations in China, with more than 2,000 hospitals using their technology. Healthvision signed a multi-year agreement with them to resell Cloverleaf in China.
Healthvision continues to invest in research and development and the following products were made available in third quarter:
Global Monitor 4.0 – provides the ability to not only monitor, but also control your Cloverleaf environments – throughout all Cloverleaf sites – within a single web browser. This version allows for support of SNMP, extended monitoring of Cloverleaf Secure Courier agents and Intelligent Health Broker, and additional operational statistics on the integration environment.
Cloverleaf Secure Courier 4.3 – a "lightweight" interoperability agent that can be deployed across multiple clients, with the intent of securely sending and receiving data - via the Internet with no additional hardware. This version allows for easier configuration of multiple CSC clients and has also added the support of CSC on the Red Hat Linux platform.
Clinical Portal & Exchange 9.08 – a fully-hosted HIE solution that allows health systems to securely exchange data and deliver results to MD offices via the Internet. This version integrates Consent to Access functionality that is critical to patient privacy issues.
Also, Healthvision recently announced the winners of their prestigious Innovative Solutions Award during their Annual User Conference held at the Marriott DFW Airport in Dallas, Texas on October 5-7, 2009. The purpose of these awards was to recognize organizations that creatively implemented Healthvision products and solutions within their organizations. This year’s winners included Caris Dx, Florida Hospital, and Central DuPage Hospital.
