Peab Builds Railway Leg Outside Gothenburg

STOCKHOLM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News:

Peab (STO:PEABB) has been contracted to build a railway leg of the route Hede-Älvängen between Gothenburg and Trollhättan. The customer is Banverket and the contract amounts to SEK 538 million.

The project is a general contract including ground- and bridgework for 7.5 kilometres double track, 1.8 kilometre tunnel, lime and cement reinforcement, and five bridges.

Construction has started and completion is scheduled for the November 2012.
