NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Friday, August 28, 2009, the Board of Directors of Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. (NYSE: LEO) declared from net investment income a monthly cash dividend of $0.042 per share of common stock, payable on September 30, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 14, 2009. The ex-dividend date is September 10, 2009. The previous dividend declared in July was $0.042 per share of common stock.
