NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Thursday, July 30, 2009, the Board of Directors of Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. (NYSE:LEO) declared from net investment income a monthly cash dividend of $0.042 per share of common stock, payable on August 31, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 13, 2009. The ex-dividend date is August 11, 2009. The previous dividend declared in June was $0.042 per share of common stock.
