Ulmer & Berne Attorney John C. Weber Appointed to Vice-Chair of the Volunteer Lawyers for Arts Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association
CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--John C. (Chaz) Weber, an attorney with Ulmer & Berne LLP, was recently appointed to Vice-Chair of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA).
The Committee provides oversight and direction to a pro bono program providing legal services to income eligible artists and arts organizations in all disciplines, develops public law-related education programs for artists and arts organizations, and collaborates with area galleries to bring rotating art exhibits to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Center.
As an attorney with Ulmer & Berne, Chaz focuses his practice on real estate law. He represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition, sale and development of a variety of commercial real estate projects. He has experience assisting both lenders and borrowers in negotiating borrowing and refinancing transactions. His practice also includes the representation of both landlords and tenants in retail leasing matters. Chaz received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University.
