Truviso Appoints New Management Team
Industry Veterans to Drive Commercial Adoption of Continuous Analytics Software
FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Truviso™, the real-time analytics company, today announced that it has completed all staffing appointments of the new management team to position the company for accelerated product adoption and growth of its customer base. The Truviso management team is being led by Thomas E. Rowley, as chief executive officer, and includes Alex Lazar as executive vice president of sales, Kim MacPherson as senior vice president for product development and operations, and Tom Kuhr as senior vice president of marketing.

The company also announced that it has raised an additional $3 million from existing investors ONSET Ventures, Diamondhead Ventures and UPS Strategic Ventures.

Thomas E. Rowley has more than 35 years of experience in helping early-stage technology companies commercialize their technologies and establish new markets. He began his career at the National Security Agency. Prior to joining Truviso, he served as CEO for StarVox Communications, Preventsys and Counterpane Internet Security, and has served as chief executive at several other companies. The World Economic Forum named Mr. Rowley a Technology Pioneer in 2002. He holds two patents, and has lectured on funding and building venture-backed companies for business schools at Stanford University, University of California at Berkeley and Santa Clara University.

Alex Lazar's expertise lies in building sales velocity for early-stage and larger public companies. He has 25 years of experience in technology sales management and a solid understanding of the issues, processes and methodologies required for helping companies meet their goals. Before joining Truviso he served as executive vice president of sales at SOA Software, a leading provider of integrated SOA governance automation solutions; as program director for security at IBM Tivoli; and as vice president at software vendor ISOCOR.
Kim MacPherson is a seasoned executive with a long track record of building and delivering high-value products and services. She joins Truviso from the position of vice president of engineering, professional services and consulting at EMC and RSA Security where she built and launched new products and services for the Global Service and Security divisions. Macpherson also built and launched consumer Internet products at Intuit including Turbo Tax Electronic Filing and Quicken.com.
Tom Kuhr is a hands-on expert in social media, ecommerce and internet software as a service (SaaS), with more than 16 years experience building technology organizations in rapid-growth environments. Before joining Truviso, Kuhr was chief marketing officer at OleOle, the world's largest social media web platform for soccer fans, and before that launched CircleUp, a venture-backed consumer-focused social communications service. Kuhr was also vice president of marketing and product management for enterprise software company Preventsys, and vice president of Stamps.com's international business unit.
