Contra Costa Regional Medical Center Selects Unibased Systems Architecture’s ForSite2020® periOperative Resource Management System
CHESTERFIELD, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (Contra Costa) of Martinez, CA and Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. (Unibased) have finalized an agreement on the selection of Unibased’s award-winning surgery management solution, ForSite2020® periOperative Resource Management System (ORMS), for use in their hospital.
ORMS from Unibased is an award-winning surgery management system that has been first in its product category according to KLASTM for six consecutive years. ORMS will replace a product no longer marketed by Mediware Information Systems (Mediware), who referred Unibased to Contra Costa, under an agreement formed in 2007.
Contra Costa is the public hospital for Contra Costa County in California. The hospital is a newly constructed facility of 164 beds with nine (9) surgery suites, supporting more than 500,000 outpatients annually. As one of the newest hospitals in California, it is a state-of-the-art medical center with the latest seismic engineering and safety features available.
According to George Giorgianni, National Director of Perioperative Solutions for Unibased, “Contra Costa selected ORMS based upon the smooth transition from their current Mediware product, the Unibased reputation for quality, reliability and performance with the associated confirmation by KLASTM, intuitive and easy-to-use workflow, and speedy implementation. Contra Costa was most impressed by the robust features and capabilities of ORMS as well as the Unibased reputation for customer service.”
