Simmer of Love:
The French Culinary Institute Offers Tuition Reduction and Scholarships For Summer Programs

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The French Culinary Institute and its sister school, The Italian Culinary Academy, are pleased to announce a tuition reduction for recent high school graduates, as well as a scholarship from the Friends of the FCI for career courses at the school that begin this summer.

The special ten percent tuition reduction is targeted to recent high school graduates, ages 17 to 20, who have received a valid high school diploma within two years of the enrollment date at The French Culinary Institute or The Italian Culinary Academy. Starting in August, the tuition reduction applies to high school graduates who enroll in any of the career programs at The French Culinary Institute -- Classic Culinary Arts, Classic Pastry Arts, International Bread and the Italian Culinary Experience.

In addition, the Friends of FCI is offering a Summer Scholarship worth $10,000 for a student who enrolls in the Classic Culinary Arts or Classic Pastry Arts programs that begin in July or August. The application deadline is July 31st.

The new tuition reduction for high school graduates and summer scholarship are two of the latest money-saving options the French Culinary Institute, and its sister school, the Italian Culinary Academy, are offering prospective students who wish to pursue their dream of a culinary career. Earlier this year, the world-renowned culinary institute announced a special tuition reduction of $4,000 for the Classic Pastry Arts and Classic Culinary Arts summer evening classes that begin August 6. The tuition savings for the part-time evening programs helps students make the transition to a culinary career more affordable.
