Starting next week these familiar trust marks will enable shoppers to evaluate every online store right upfront within search results, helping them to make decisions about where to buy based on more than just a product and its price. A 2009 consumer research study conducted by Javelin Strategy & Research for eBillme and First Guard determined that only 61% of consumers with internet access agreed that the Internet is safe enough for making online purchases.
