Millipore Corporation Announces Appointment of Strategy and Corporate Development Vice President

BILLERICA, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Millipore Corporation (NYSE: MIL), a leading provider of technologies, tools and services for the global life science industry, today announced the appointment of Ram Ramakrishnan as Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development.

In his new role, Mr. Ramakrishnan is responsible for leading the development of Millipore’s corporate strategy, managing the company’s strategic planning process, and leading the company’s domestic and international acquisition activities.

Prior to joining Millipore, Mr. Ramakrishnan was Senior Vice President, Growth at Pentair, where he led the strategic transformation of the company, orchestrating and integrating 20 acquisitions. He also held Corporate Strategy positions with Motorola and Square D, and was a Global Strategist for McKinsey & Company.
