Regional hospital is new addition to the growing IntraNexus® Client List
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IntraNexus Inc., a leading provider of HIS solutions for nearly 17 years, announced today the addition of St. Luke Hospitals, located in Northern Kentucky and a subsidiary of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, to the growing list of hospitals using IntraNexus SAPPHIRE® Patient Financial Management. IntraNexus worked with St. Elizabeth to achieve a successful go live on April 1, 2009.
“We are happy with the direction that IntraNexus has taken with the product and we are very pleased with the implementation services we received from them to bring St. Luke onto the SAPPHIRE system.”
St. Elizabeth Healthcare was formed in October, 2008 with the merger of St. Luke Hospitals and St. Elizabeth Hospitals to better serve the community healthcare needs of the Northern Kentucky. “St. Elizabeth Medical Center has partnered with IntraNexus, Inc since 1997 first as our consultant and later as our Patient Financial Systems vendor. In 2001 when IntraNexus purchased the product we were using, product support transitioned to IntraNexus,” stated Jerry Neuhaus, Assistant Director, Information Services. “We are happy with the direction that IntraNexus has taken with the product and we are very pleased with the implementation services we received from them to bring St. Luke onto the SAPPHIRE system.”
“We are very pleased to add St. Luke Hospitals to the IntraNexus client list and we’re happy our PFS solution will help St. Luke realize their goals of improving patient services and lowering their accounts receivable days,” stated Kathleen Patentreger, IntraNexus Vice President, Client Services. “IntraNexus and St. Elizabeth have had a long, mutually beneficial relationship since 1997 and we look forward to the same type of relationship with St. Luke.” Ms. Patentreger added, “We are performing an account conversion that involves receiving existing St. Luke patients from a foreign system, checking for duplication with existing SAPPHIRE patient records, and then pulling accurate data forward to SAPPHIRE to accomplish complete centralized patient billing at St. Elizabeth.”
