Benefit Informatics Introduces Executive Summary to Save Time and Resources for Health Plan Analysis and Reporting
New Service Combines Multiple Data Analysis and Reporting Functions in One Application
TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Every employer health plan needs to know healthcare utilization, cost trends and performance benchmarks to better manage risk. Plan analysis and reporting are now combined into one function to save time and resources with Executive Summary from Benefit Informatics.
“We have been very pleased with the response from our customers to Executive Summary”
With Executive Summary, Benefit Informatics users can utilize a single Data Analysis and Reporting application to achieve results typically requiring multiple steps. This new application combines comprehensive information and ease-of-use with the ability to personalize output with private label branding. Users can choose the date range, specific claim data elements and their choice of output and then select one or many routines to run. The results are produced in one finished document that can be printed, saved as a PDF or stored in an online secure format for others to access.
“We have been very pleased with the response from our customers to Executive Summary,” said Phil Bruns, Chief Operating Officer for Benefit Informatics. “We designed Executive Summary to enhance our customers’ health plan reporting process by saving time and resources in communicating plan activity and performance. Several of our payer customers plan to replace their current client reporting process with Executive Summary which will significantly reduce the resources and expense traditionally required to produce and distribute monthly, quarterly or annual reports.”
Executive Summary, like all Benefit Informatics data analysis and reporting services, is offered as a web-based service allowing customers, whether insurance companies, TPAs, brokers or employers, to access the system online and distribute the output to others in a secure online format. This Internet-based distribution of analysis and report documents saves both time and expenses, such as printing and postage.
“As more customers implement Executive Summary, we expect to add functionality and capabilities which bring even greater value for users,” Bruns added. “Our goal is to make healthcare claim and health plan information available to employers and all stakeholders in the most efficient and easy to understand format. Executive Summary is our latest addition to meet this goal of bringing cost transparency to everyone involved in the health benefits process.”
