DocuSys Implements Anesthesia Software at Brooke Army Medical Center
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DocuSys, Inc., the market-leading provider of the most innovative systems for anesthesia information management, medication management and presurgical care, today announces that Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) went live on DocuSys’ anesthesia solution in 14 anesthetizing locations. BAMC serves as a world class health science center for inpatient and ambulatory care, consisting of Graduate Medical Education (GME) & training, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and the only American Burn Association verified Burn Center within the DoD (Department of Defense).
DocuSys is providing BAMC with its anesthesia information management system (AIMS), which produces an electronic medical record of the anesthetic case as well as providing enhanced decision support for the documentation of national quality measures. BAMC also receives extensive ad hoc reporting capabilities on their clinical database for comprehensive analysis by utilizing the DocuSys reporting module.
“As the first Army Treatment Facility to go live with DocuSys’ AIMS application, Brooke Army Medical Center worked closely with DocuSys to ensure the system was carefully configured to meet their facility-specific requirements,” said DocuSys President and CEO Robert Watson. “We are pleased BAMC recognized the benefits of our system to improve the quality of care and choose to incorporate our anesthesia software in their healthcare facility.”
