Transamerica Retirement Services Ranks as the Top Provider in Boston Research Group’s Retirement Advisor Satisfaction and Loyalty Survey
Transamerica Exceeds the Benchmark in 46 of the 48 Individual Drivers of Satisfaction, as Well as “Overall Satisfaction”
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transamerica Retirement Services ranked as the top plan provider in a nationwide survey of retirement plan advisors, exceeding the industry norm with its percentage of “excellent” ratings in 46 of the 48 drivers measured—the highest of any provider reviewed. The study, conducted by the Boston Research Group, polled plan advisors on satisfaction and loyalty for their top three plan providers. Transamerica also ranked above the industry norm for “Overall Satisfaction.”

The survey segmented drivers of satisfaction into seven overall attributes, with Transamerica setting the high-mark for the number of its percentage of “excellent” ratings above the industry norm within each attribute. These overall attributes include:

- Product Features
- Sales and Marketing Support
- Service and Support
- Provider Image

- Quality of invest monitor, due diligence
- Willing to participate in sales presentations and events
- Partners with you for success
- Enrollment support services
- Making it easy to do business with them
- Making fees transparent and easy to explain/ show to sponsor
- Pricing flexibility to allow you to maximize cost to plan sponsors
- Quality of the provider relationship managers
- Commitment to the 401(k) market

The Boston Research Group “Defined Contribution Plan 2008 Retirement Advisor Study” is a nationwide study of 643 retirement advisors. Advisors provided satisfaction and loyalty ratings for their top three providers. The sample was drawn from the 401kExchange database of retirement advisors. Seventy-four advisors were profiled in the study to achieve the industry norm.
