Fitch Rates Fifth Third Bancorp's Pfd 'A-' Issued Under Treasury Capital Purchase Program
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'A-' rating to the preferred stock issued by Fifth Third Bancorp under the Treasury's Capital Purchase Program (CPP). The CPP is one of the U.S. Government programs established to help stabilize and restore confidence in the U.S. banking system.
