Enterprise Rent-A-Car Ranked Highest In Customer Satisfaction By J.D. Power And Associates For Fifth Straight Year, Nine of Last 10
Enterprise Highest Ranked In Six Out of Six Categories
ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Enterprise Rent-A-Car has once again ranked highest in customer satisfaction among airport rental car companies, according to a nationwide study released today by J.D. Power and Associates. For the fifth year in a row – and for the ninth time in the past ten years – Enterprise ranks highest in the J.D. Power and Associates Rental Car Satisfaction StudySM, which includes leisure and business travelers.

In the 2008 study, Enterprise – the largest rental car company in North America – expanded its leading position in the overall rankings from 15 to 23 index points. Customers gave the company the highest rating in six out of six categories measured: reservation process, pick-up process, rental car, shuttle bus/van service, return process, and costs and fees.
Having adapted its industry-leading value and customer service proposition from neighborhoods to airports over the past decade, Enterprise has expanded from one on-airport location in 1995 to more than 240 today.

The study, which draws from the evaluations of 13,493 people who rented an automobile at an airport location between September 2007 and October 2008, is an independent, nationally representative measurement of customer satisfaction among North American rental car customers who rent at or near airports.
The company’s airport business is geared toward leisure travelers and value-minded business travelers who appreciate a highly personalized brand of customer service. Enterprise’s retail daily rental rates at the airport are on average more than 20 percent below industry average.
