Jeff White Joins Environics Communications as Vice President
White, Formerly in the Social Marketing Practice at Ogilvy Public Relations, To Develop and Implement Consumer Marketing Campaigns For Environics’ Association, Nonprofit, and Consumer Brand Clients
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Environics Communications, Inc., a full-service North American public relations agency, today announced that Jeff White has joined the agency as a vice president in the Washington, D.C., office.
White has 19 years of communications and marketing experience with an emphasis on national consumer awareness campaigns, corporate and association partnership development, social media influencer outreach, online tool development, media relations, and consumer education material development. At Environics, he will provide strategic counsel to association, nonprofit, and consumer brand clients.
Before joining Environics, White was a vice president in the social marketing practice at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. His work at Ogilvy included directing a national consumer outreach campaign for the Federal Trade Commission designed to educate consumers about how to recognize, report and prevent telemarketing fraud. Other national clients included the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Prior to Ogilvy, he served as the director of corporate communications for COMSAT Corporation, where he was responsible for all aspects of the global satellite company’s communications efforts, including advertising, trade shows, and the development and launch of a rebranded and redesigned corporate identity.
White also served as major gifts manager for the national office of Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), a nonprofit organization where his responsibilities included corporate and foundation-giving programs, including grant writing. He began his career with eight years at Core-Mark International, a North American wholesale convenience store distribution company based in San Francisco, where he served in a variety of marketing capacities.

White is a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing.
