Celebrity Mom Jennie Garth Helps Design Eco-Friendly Bag
“90210” Star Partners with Green Works to Design Cotton Bags; Proceeds to Benefit the Sierra Club
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Understanding the challenges of balancing motherhood and living “green,” actress Jennie Garth has teamed with the makers of Green Works natural cleaners to design an environmentally friendly cotton tote bag, complete with her signature.
“Jennie’s sense of style and personal interests come through in the design and promotion of this bag”
“The Green Bag by Jennie Garth” is made from 100 percent recycled cotton and is reusable. The designer bag is available for sale online at www.greenworkscleaners.com for $10. For every bag sold, Green Works will donate $3.65 to the Sierra Club. The remaining amount of $6.35 covers the cost of the bag.
“Like many moms, I’m on a journey to living a more natural lifestyle without sacrificing quality and convenience,” said Garth. “Working with the Green Works team to design this bag is another opportunity to share the message about natural cleaning, while supporting a deserving organization like the Sierra Club.”
“Jennie’s sense of style and personal interests come through in the design and promotion of this bag,” said Heather Ceron, Consumer Promotions Manager. “We are pleased to collaborate on developing a bag that would appeal to women like Jennie – busy moms who are looking for simple ways to live an eco-friendly lifestyle.”
With credits that include “90210” and “Dancing with the Stars,” Garth is a mother of three children who understands the challenges of balancing an active lifestyle focused on family, health and supporting causes she cares about.
