The Log Management Leader Announces LogLogic 4.6 for Enhanced Security, Search and Log Data Mining
New Release Provides Comprehensive Forensics Workflow, Secure Remote Access Control, and “Business Intelligence for IT” All-in-One
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LogLogic, the log management and intelligence leader, today announced LogLogic 4.6, which boasts over 30 new features to enhance the powerful log management, analytics and search functions that enterprise customers have come to appreciate. Release 4.6 provides improved search for IT intelligence, forensics workflow and advanced secure remote access control. LogLogic 4.6 will be rolled out for the company’s family of LX, ST, and MX products, enabling large- and mid-sized companies to better capture, search and store their log data to improve business operations, monitor user activity and meet industry standards for security and compliance.
“We want to give customers a suite of tools for observing important business activities through log data – they can now more easily bring to life and visualize operational trends and user activity in real-time, as well as over the long haul.”
“The extensive feature set built into Release 4.6 will leverage our customers’ existing log files in a way that provides both technical and non-technical users enhanced insight into how their businesses are running,” said Bassam Khan, VP of product management and product marketing at LogLogic. “Particularly in the case of a data breach, Release 4.6 allows customers to easily sift through granular log files and get to the root of an incident faster than ever, and with a user interface that any employee – from a network engineer to a business person – can interpret and understand.”
With Release 4.6, LogLogic offers the most comprehensive and easy-to-use logging solution available. The new release features an improved search user interface (UI) that offers a 360-degree view of how a customer’s business operations are running, including dynamic range selection, graphical trending and real-time reporting. A new forensic clipboard enhancement enables administrators and non-technical employees to interact with log files and timelines to effectively create a storyboard to capture any chain of events surrounding a given incident. The release also introduces role-based access control and support for Active Directory to enhance secure log data access and consolidate user privileges.
“With LogLogic 4.6, we are essentially bringing customers ‘BI for IT’ via log-focused business intelligence, analytics and reporting,” said Khan. “We want to give customers a suite of tools for observing important business activities through log data – they can now more easily bring to life and visualize operational trends and user activity in real-time, as well as over the long haul.”
