Renasant Bank Implements Goldleafs Web Design and Hosting Solution

More Than Doubles Web Traffic since Going Live

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:GFSI), a provider of integrated technology-based solutions designed to improve the performance of financial institutions, today announced that Tupelo, Miss.-based Renasant Bank has successfully implemented Goldleafs Web design and hosting solution. According to the bank, since going live in May, their Web traffic has more than doubled, going from approximately 8,000 page views per day to upwards of 20,000.

When Stratton Huggins, marketing communications manager of Renasant, assessed the banks marketing strategy, he focused on tightening the cohesiveness of the brand across all channels of the enterprise as one of the banks highest priorities. According to Huggins, the Web site did not successfully tie into the banks overall brand. The initial drivers for updating the site were to incorporate the new look and feel of the banks brand marketing campaign. It was also paramount to ensure the site could easily communicate the features and benefits of the various products and services offered by the bank. Huggins also wanted to develop the site as an internal reference point that employees could use to increase their knowledge to identify cross-selling opportunities, as well as make the site more interactive and intuitive to navigate. The bank was also looking to the future, as Renasant has plans to use the site to enable online account opening in late 2008.

Commenting on the selection, Huggins said, When Renasant put out the RFP for the new site, we narrowed it down to a field of four vendors. We developed a full committee that reviewed all of the proposals, and ultimately, Goldleaf stood out for several reasons. Most compelling was Goldleafs experience in Web site development and their specific work with financial institutions. While other vendors dabbled in other industries, Goldleafs domain knowledge was a huge advantage they understand banking regulations, compliance issues and the need for the highest levels of security. Their solution was superior and had numerous differentiators that made them an obvious fit.

Huggins also cited the companys customer care team as a key differentiator. Having an account representative specifically dedicated to Renasant was an advantage. In addition, the solution offered a content management system that could be altered in real-time at the banks convenience. The a la carte services, including enhanced security modules, were also attractive to the bank because they provide the highest level of security, enabling Renasant to fully protect the integrity of their customer data. Huggins credits promoting the site through marketing emails, advertising campaigns and promotional merchandise with driving traffic to the site, which now features flash ads, to cross sell bank services. The site also gives the bank the ability to promote its Internet banking and online bill pay solutions.

Goldleaf EVP, Todd Shiver, said, Bank customers today want convenience whether visiting a branch or going to their banks Web site, they want banking to be simple and easy. Renasant Bank is incredibly strategic in their vision. From the site design to security, the bank has ensured they are delivering the most comprehensive, secure place for customers to view products and services, and in the near future, open accounts online. In todays environment, anything that simplifies the deposit acquisition process is critical, and our domain expertise has made Goldleaf a clear leader in Web site design and hosting for hundreds of institutions across the country.
