Noetix Generator Achieves Prestigious SAP-certified Integration With BusinessObjects XI Solutions

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Noetix^® Corp., a software provider that automatically generates business intelligence (BI) content from enterprise applications, today announced that its Noetix Generator version 1.1 for use with Business Objects software has achieved SAP certified integration status as a third-party extension/add-on for integration with the BusinessObjects™ XI R2 solutions.

Third-party add-ons such as Noetix Generator version 1.1 have passed the syntactic and semantic checks that are part of the SAP certification requirements for BusinessObjects XI R2 and therefore eligible to receive certification through the SAP Integration and Certification Center.

Noetix provides patented technology to automatically populate Business Objects universes with NoetixViews for Oracle E-Business Suite, and then exports the generated universes into the BusinessObjects software environment. As a result, report authors and query users can immediately begin using their Business Objects reporting tool of choice to develop reports and queries against configuration specific views of their application data.

This certification includes a stringent set of requirements based on a proven SAP methodology and will provide an added level of assurance to customers that Noetix Generator is a tested, third-party solution that interoperates with BusinessObjects software.

Noetix Generator for Business Objects includes functionality that enables users to:

• Create BusinessObjects classes and objects, including the names, descriptions, and data types matching the concepts found in NoetixViews.
• Organize classes into two different types of universes: one set based on the organizational units (sets of books, inventory organizations, etc.) as defined within Oracle E-Business Suite and another based on the roles defined within NoetixViews.
• Export universes automatically to the customer’s central management server.
• Predefine relationships between classes that automatically identify the permissible joins between related Noetix views.
• Create groups in the customer’s central management server to provide access to the automatically generated universes, making it simple for administrators to provide data authorization.
