American Southwest Returns to its Music Roots
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Southwest Music Distribution, Inc. (OTCBB:ASWD) today announced that it is no longer seeking a merger candidate and the company is fully focused on building its music business. The company further announced that there will be no recapitalization of the stock nor will it entertain any reverse stock-splits.
“After the unsuccessful conclusion to the Ultimate Sports transaction, the new Board of Directors is clearly focused on this company’s original goals,” stated Chris Lotito, President. “And that is to produce, market and distribute original music. American Southwest’s plans are to establish a consistent cash flow in order to sign new artists and build its music catalog. The Company intends to achieve these goals by focusing its attention on quick turning revenue through concert promotion and the remarketing of its extensive catalog, previously valued at over $4,000,000. We are in negotiations at this time and look forward to further positive announcements.”
