ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tripos International, leading provider of drug discovery informatics products and services, today announced a Beta Test Program for its popular SYBYL on Mac OS X. The test is designed to validate the comprehensive porting of Tripos’ widely installed SYBYL expert molecular modeling environment to the Mac platform. The Beta Test Program is now underway, and will continue through August 15, 2008, with full release planned for September 2008.

The Beta Test Program will allow participants access to all SYBYL base tools and modules for the testing period, meaning that users can immediately begin using the powerful molecular modeling environment for testing and research. Beta users need an Intel based Mac, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, and an Nvidia graphics card.
