Riekes Center Receives $95,000 Grant Funding from Sequoia Healthcare District

Monies Will Benefit Centers After-School Student Fitness Program

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Riekes Center for Human Enhancement announced today the receipt of $95,000 in grant funding from The Sequoia Healthcare District (SHD) to support the Riekes Centers After-School Student Fitness program. The Riekes Center is a nonprofit mentoring organization that provides its students a greater opportunity for self development. The funding also allows the Riekes Center, headquartered in Menlo Park, California, to build on its successful programs for East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) and Summit Prep of Redwood City.

To fund this grant, The Sequoia Health Care District joins other prominent philanthropic foundations including the Omidyar Network and the Sand Hill Foundation as well as numerous individuals.
