Picis Launches Customer Social Network at Picis Exchange 2008
Online forum brings together 325 healthcare leaders to share best practices, industry expertise and healthcare trends
WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As the healthcare industry continues to face challenges regarding economics, clinical improvements, interoperability standards, compliance and IT implementations, Picis has created a new social networking Web site, Picis Exchange Network, to capture unique perspectives from its customers. Unveiled at the Picis Exchange Customer Conference, held June 15-18, 2008 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla., this new online community will extend the dialogue, interaction and exchange of ideas that take place at the company’s live event. Picis plans to then expand this content to its broader customer base, which includes more than 1,700 hospitals and medical centers in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The forum will not only help hospitals further their understanding of Picis technology, but will also drive interaction among customers around key industry issues.
