Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Announces New Vice President of Sales

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) today announced the appointment of Tom Dameron as vice president of its sales department.

Dameron joins BCBSAZ after serving as president and CEO of LifeWise Health Plan of Arizona. Prior to that, he served in various health care industry roles with other national health insurance providers and benefits consultants, as well as a previous 12-year stint with BCBSAZ in the Actuarial and Underwriting Services department.

As vice president of sales, Dameron is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the activities of the BCBSAZ sales department, working closely with divisions throughout the company to help ensure that its products meet marketplace needs, are cost competitive and are effectively promoted.

Dameron earned a bachelor’s degree in statistical analysis from Arizona State University. He is currently a Maricopa County Bar Foundation board member.
