DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Healthvision, a leading provider of healthcare specific software and solutions, today announced that Jerry Rankin, vice president of Product Management, will be presenting an educational session entitled, “Exchanging Information to Improve Patient Care,” at HIMSS Washington Quarterly Education Session on June 13, 2008.
Rankin is a 20-year veteran of healthcare management, business development, and healthcare IT consulting. He has been actively involved in consultation and implementation for leading Health Information Exchange projects in the US, including both NHIN I and II prototype projects. This extensive experience positions him as an expert in guiding healthcare professionals to examine how information is exchanged within their organizations in an effort to continually improve patient care.
Rankin will describe innovative implementations for improving patient care across medical communities, utilizing Health Information Exchange technologies, including EMR, Hospital, Diagnostic Service and Care Management integration.
