Delta Dental Introduces D&P Maximum Advantage

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Delta Dental of Tennessee (Delta Dental), Tennessee’s largest dental benefits provider, has introduced D&P Maximum Advantage, effective for groups on or after July 1, 2008. This new plan option allows members to keep more of their benefits by excluding charges for diagnostic and preventive services from the annual maximum, which helps save the annual maximum for times when more costly procedures, such as root canals or crowns, are necessary.

The waived diagnostic and preventive services include oral exams, X-rays, and two cleanings per year. Those affected by certain health conditions may be eligible for up to four cleanings per year, none of which will count toward the annual maximum. The plan feature is available to new groups, or upon renewal for current groups.
