“We are very excited to have Mark join our team of industry analysts. He is a seasoned Silicon Valley observer with tremendous experience in personal finance trends needs and technologies” said Mary Monahan, Managing Partner of Javelin. “He brings a wealth of proven business and financial expertise. We look forward to benefiting from his insight as we continue to provide our clients with meaningful primary research and reports about multi-channel financial services."
Javelin’s multi-channel financial services coverage is of particular value to banks and card issuers, providing insight on consumer behaviors and attitudes, as well as trends in consumer interaction on a product and channel basis. Javelin deploys multiple consumer and executive surveys annually to understand evolving trends, as well as best practices among financial institutions for product implementation, strategic marketing and cross-selling.
“My audience will now be professionals in the financial industry, but I’m still covering money,’’ Schwanhausser said. “With the newspaper, I focused on how consumers earn it, save it and keep it from the taxman. With Javelin, I’m analyzing how financial institutions can help customers move it, manage it and monitor it more easily.”
