CONCACAF Champions’ Cup Returns to Fox Sports en Español for Fourth Consecutive Year

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fox Sports en Español announced today the return of the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup for the fourth consecutive year. The 2008 edition will once again be televised exclusively in Spanish by the leading all-sports cable network, starting with live coverage of the quarterfinal between Motagua of Honduras and Mexico’s Pachuca tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

The eight-team field for the 2008 CONCACAF Champions’ Cup includes Mexico’s Pachuca and Atlante FC, Costa Rica’s Saprissa, Jamaica’s Harbour View, Honduras’ Motagua, Guatemala’s Municipal, and Major League Soccer’s D.C. United and the Houston Dynamo.

Semifinal rounds will take place on April 2-3 and April 9-10, while the finals will take place April 23 and April 30.
The CONCACAF Champions’ Cup is the longest running international competition in the region and has crowned the CONCACAF Confederation champion club since its inception in 1962. The winner of the 2008 CONCACAF Champions' Cup will again qualify to the FIFA Club World Championship in Japan later this year. The Champions' Cup runner-up will be one of three CONCACAF invitees to the 2008 Copa Nissan Sudamericana.
