Habeas Launches ReputationWiki.org to Serve as Industry’s Leading Collaboration and Education Resource
Thought Leaders to Address Topics Related to Reputation, Compliance, Deliverability and Policy through First-of-its-Kind Global Community
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Habeas, Inc. (www.habeas.com), the world leader in email reputation services, today announced the launch of ReputationWiki.org which will serve as a focal point to define and advance the growing field of reputation management.
ReputationWiki.org is intended to be a primary resource on topics pertinent to the ever-growing online ecosystem, including reputation, compliance, deliverability and policy. Through industry support of this collaborative initiative, marketing, sales and brand professionals can expand their knowledge, contribute to relevant topics and interact with their peers on issues that are important to them.
“A good reputation is imperative to successful online marketing, transaction and retention strategies,” said Ray Everett-Church, director of email policy at Habeas. “Business professionals who create and rely on email, the Web and even mobile programs will benefit from the understanding and application of reputation management that will grow from this unique forum.”
ReputationWiki.org launches at a time when reputation is a significant factor in consumer trust. A recent study by research firm Ipsos found that 64 percent of consumers reported that legitimate emails regularly end up in their spam folders or do not arrive at all. Of real concern, 25 percent said they lose some faith in a company when expected email is not received. These findings suggest that consumer sentiments are such that once a brand’s online reputation is marred by inadequate or irresponsible email practices, business results and customer satisfaction could be significantly impacted.
“ReputationWiki.org is a great idea and we believe Habeas is a natural to lead this industry initiative,” said Jeremy Saibil, director of deliverability at Campaigner. "As a certified partner, we fully support a collaborative effort like this to help educate and empower strategists and practitioners worldwide.”
ReputationWiki.org includes reference materials and articles about reputation and deliverability concepts, authentication and accreditation topics, as well a glossary of relevant terms. Habeas, industry associations and key partners including BoxSentry, Campaigner, Concep, Infusion Software, Innovyx, LashBack, Sendmail, Summit Projects, Thin Data and more will contribute to a library of articles addressing best practices and various documents on industry standards to help advocate the acceleration of knowledge. Members of the business community at large are encouraged to provide additional, relevant content and participate in discussions. To learn more, visit: http://www.reputationwiki.org.
