MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MFM Trade Meetings, a division of Miami-headquartered MFM Group Inc., has been selected to help implement two important initiatives of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, based in Arlington, VA.
MFM will manage United States and Mexico: Building Partnerships in Infrastructure, a conference to be held in Mexico City in February, 2008, focusing on Mexican President Calderon’s “National Infrastructure Plan”. Also, in partnership with Management Options, Inc. (MOI), a Washington, DC-based international business consulting firm, MOI, MFM Trade Meetings and KUPS International have been selected by the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) to implement the first phase of its new Global Customs Initiative (GCI), a worldwide, $4 million program to facilitate economic growth in developing and middle-income countries. In its partnership with USTDA, the MOI/MFM/KUPS Team will initially develop and execute two orientation visits to the US and three foreign training sessions during 2008 on a wide array of customs issues for delegates from Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
