Daddy's Junky Music Stores Are First Retail Partners to Offer WorkshopLive's Online Music Lessons to Retail Customers
For over three decades, Daddy's music stores have been providing the best in new and used gear, friendly service, and guaranteed competitive pricing, all with a personal touch. Each Daddy's store will sell the new WorkshopLive Lesson Cards, which offer 15 days of unlimited, around-the-clock access to WorkshopLive's over 1,000 music lessons in guitar, bass and keyboard, for just $14.95.
"Online lessons are a great addition to Daddy's stores," commented Fred Bramante, Daddy's CEO, "extending our services beyond instrument sales and rental, repair and in-store lessons. WorkshopLive's extraordinary offering is a perfect complement to our product line, and represents an important learning aid for students."
Bramante said that providing easy access to online music lessons would also help Daddy's increase instrument sales, both directly to students and as gifts. WorkshopLive has been developed by the founders of National Guitar Workshop and National Music Workshop, companies that have been involved with Daddy's for years, he added.
This marks the first time that WorkshopLive is making its music education program available through the retail channel, where customers are already known to be interested in playing music.
"Partnering with Daddy's Junky Music Stores was a natural choice for us. They already have a trusted relationship with thousands of current and prospective musicians, and can easily explain the advantages of online music lessons," said David Smolover, founder and CEO of WorkshopLive. "As one of the music retail leaders in the entire country, Daddy's provides the kind of personal service and support that are so important to those who want to learn how to play music better. As we roll out this promotion nationwide, Daddy's is leading the way, and we are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship for both companies."
Formally launched in December 2005, WorkshopLive has attracted thousands of customers for online music lessons from the United States, England, Denmark, Vietnam, the Caribbean, and many other areas of the world. WorkshopLive has dozens of the world's top music instructors providing online guitar lessons, as well as other music lessons, which range from beginner to advanced. Hundreds of music lessons are offered in a wide variety of styles (acoustic, rock, jazz, classical, etc.). Players learn at their own pace, whenever and wherever they want, day or night, in the comfort of their own home or wherever they can make a high-speed Internet connection.
The promotion with Daddy's is the first retail partnership for WorkshopLive, which expects to roll out similar programs with other regional stores that have the same commitment to quality products and customer satisfaction. A sales incentive contest will reward individual store managers and sales associates for success in customer acquisition, Smolover added.
The promotion runs through October 7, 2006.
