TriZetto’s New QicLink Version 4.10 Available to all Benefits Administrator Customers
Pre-Integration With Partner Offerings a Boon to Benefits Administrators
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The TriZetto Group, Inc. today announced the general-availability release of its QicLink Extended EnterpriseTM 4.10 system for licensed benefits administrator customers. The general-availability release for TriZetto’s hosted and business process outsourcing (BPO) customers occurred in June.
TriZetto’s QicLink platform is one of the nation’s most widely used applications by third-party administrators and organizations that self-fund their health benefits. The system automates and manages enrollment, customer service, claims adjudication, billing and accounts receivable, and re-pricing and payment processes.
Once the Microsoft® Windows® platform is in place, an upgrade to QicLink 4.10 application typically takes just a weekend, and this major release is provided to customers at no cost under customers’ service agreements.
The QicLink 4.10 platform release uses the Microsoft .NETTM-connected framework. This platform allows benefits administrators to quickly integrate TriZetto’s administration system with software that supports other business functions or that is used by partner companies.
“This is significant because benefits administrators focus on claims adjudication and strong customer service,” said Joe Manheim, TriZetto’s senior vice president of benefits administration and cost and quality of care. “Most of them partner with other organizations to offer medical management, provider networks and stop-loss insurance to their employer customers. TriZetto’s QicLink 4.10 system enables benefits administrators to more easily and quickly team with business partners to make these and other offerings available and remain competitive with regional and national carriers that offer self-funded benefits.”
Manheim added that the Microsoft .NET-based QicLink application is pre-integrated with affordable third-party software and services available from TriZetto’s Premier Partnership ProgramTM. The program offers discounted pricing that TriZetto has negotiated with vendors for data analytics, disease management, pharmacy benefits and other services that can help benefits administrators better manage the cost and quality of member care.
The QicLink platform is available to benefits administrators on a licensed, hosted or BPO basis.
