Vettro Broadens Market Reach by Joining the HP Marketplace Referral Program
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vettro (www.vettro.com), a global leader in mobile on-demand business applications, today announced it has joined the HP Software ISV Marketplace Referral Program to accelerate the adoption of its mobile solutions for HP Service Manager 7.0.
As the first and only mobile application provider in the program, Vettro now has access to HP’s large portfolio of services and value-added content that enables rapid development and deployment of mission-critical mobile applications.
“As a world-class mobile applications provider, Vettro has the requisite technology depth and global business expertise to address all phases of the service deployment cycle,” said Matt Finkelstein, Vettro’s vice president of product management. “Vettro’s mobile offerings, combined with the new HP IT Service Management software, enable customers to maximize the value of their investment, achieving comprehensive service lifecycle management. We are very pleased to work with HP in this initiative.”
“Customers can reduce costs by decreasing the time it takes to resolve and prevent service issues,” said Brad Kern, vice president of worldwide alliances, software, HP. “HP’s collaboration with Vettro helps by allowing our customers to easily access HP Service Manager on a mobile solution platform.”
Earlier this year Vettro announced mobile support for HP Service Manager 7.0 enabling IT organizations to increase productivity, improve service level agreements (SLAs), and better measure IT contribution to the bottom line. As IT service delivery continues to evolve, ITSM innovation remains a key strategic priority for Vettro, and working with HP helps facilitate the extension of ITIL best practices to the mobile workforce.
Vettro’s mobile application for HP Service Manager is packaged with a graphical configuration utility that provides a quick, seamless install directly into the HP Service Manager environment. Data is seamlessly connected to and from the Vettro mobile IT Service Management application without any custom coding. In addition, IT Managers can easily customize mobile user preferences, settings and data profiles. All edits made within Service Manager are automatically detected and ported to the wireless device, minimizing the need for dual development or maintenance.
