Republic Airways Reports a 12% Increase in June 2008 Traffic
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2008. The company generated 868.0 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 12.3% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 17.2% to 1.11 billion. Block hours were 63,032 in June 2008, a 12.0% increase over June 2007. Load factor was 78.5% versus 81.9% in June 2007. A total of 1,698,401 passengers were carried during the month, a 16.5% increase over the same month last year.
