Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. Announces Internet Availability of 2008 Annual Stockholders Meeting Proxy Materials

SYRACUSE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: TAST), the parent company of Carrols Corporation, today announced the Internet availability of proxy materials for its 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders under the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s new Notice and Access rule.

On April 25, 2008, the “Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials” was mailed to stockholders of record as of April 14, 2008. Stockholders will receive a control number in this mailing and can access the Company’s proxy materials at www.proxyvote.com.

By implementing the new Notice and Access rule, the Company has reduced the number of printed copies of its proxy materials, both lowering the cost and reducing the environmental impact of producing and delivering these materials.

The Company’s 2007 Annual Report and proxy statement have been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
