ExaDigm and Chase Paymentech Introduce Certified Wireless Payment Solution
Chase Paymentech Awards Class A Certification to ExaDigm’s XD2100SP
SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ExaDigm Inc., the leading innovator of wired and wireless point-of-sale (POS) terminal solutions, today announced that Chase Paymentech Solutions, LLC has awarded Class A certification to ExaDigm’s XD2100SP Mobile Payment Solution.
ExaDigm’s XD2100SP is a PC-based, fully modular payment solution featuring industry-first technology innovations, such as integrated RFID readers, resulting in less downtime and lower cost due to upgrades; interchangeable communication modules which eliminate the need to support multiple same-functionality terminals from one manufacturer; and the ability to adapt to changing technologies easily and rapidly, with a view to ensuring that obsolescence and subsequent swap out programs are a thing of the past.
“Chase Paymentech’s Class A certification of the XD2100SP further demonstrates the forward-thinking approach that has made them leaders in the payments industry,” said Michael Mulcahy, CEO of ExaDigm. “This certification means that ISO’s, resellers, merchants and banks will now have a full range of wireless communication choices on a single terminal that employs the most secure IP connection eliminating the need for gateways or other middleware applications. All of this, combined with an open source OS and a fully integrated PCI-approved PIN pad, makes this a truly obsolescence proof terminal.”
Class A certified products, applications, peripherals, and accessories guarantee end users full access to 24x7x365 help desk support from Chase Paymentech. This level of support, along with the reliability of the ExaDigm terminal, ensures merchants experience minimal terminal downtime resulting in maximum ROI.
“Merchants are recognizing the many advantages of adopting secure wireless payments capabilities and Chase Paymentech is paving the way for new payment technologies that benefit both merchants and consumers,” said Jennifer Stout, Group Executive Retail Products, Chase Paymentech. “We are pleased to join forces with industry leader, ExaDigm, to provide the market with practical, cost effective wireless solutions.”
The ExaDigm XD2100SP is a secure, mobile wireless transaction terminal that allows credit, PIN debit, private label stored value, check authorization-scan and EBT payment to be brought to the customer, under retail and restaurant environments. Supporting both cellular wireless (CDMA & GSM/GPRS) and IP-based wireless (WiFi), as well as Ethernet and dial connectivity, the XD2100SP is ideally suited to a range of mobile applications in the foodservice, transportation, event and home service markets, or anywhere a wireless terminal would improve customer service or operating efficiencies.
