CeBIT 2008: datango Launches New Solutions for Knowledge Transfer

BERLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The datango AG, a specialist in the sectors of E-Learning and Electronic Performance Support Systems (EPSS), now introduces - just in time for the CeBIT 2008 - two new releases. In this context, the datango knowledge suite 6.3 (dks) was adjusted to the ever-increasing requirements on the part of customers and extended by key features in the following functions: incorporation, management and publication of learning content. With that in the future, it enables an even higher level of convenience in the course of electronic learning. In addition to that- effective immediately - the supplier presents the datango context configurator in the Version 2.0 - and with that, bridges the gap between systems such as SAP Business Suite and the separately created learning content units.

The EPSS (Electronic Performance Support System) "dks" is a platform for the documentation, simulation and need-based user trainings along with navigation which supports the optimum use of applications. The next generation of the datango knowledge suite comes with numerous newly integrated, update features, along with extended functionalities. For example, effective immediately, it is possible to use various quiz types with the Version 6.3 – and with that, to precisely pinpoint and eliminate existing gaps in the user's knowledge – if necessary, also via multimedia. In addition, learning content can now also be output for SCORM 2004-compatible Learning Management Systems, and documentaries can be enhanced with a visual process cycle. While the post-processing complexity could be reduced by the improved incorporation into browsers, the new "drag and drop" functionality within the miniature view enables even more convenient post-processing. All in all, the dks can be applied even more easily - with its improved scope of performance.

The datango context configurator 2.0 connects both worlds - SAP Business Suite and the created datango learning content. The datango context configurator 2.0 can be used to incorporate all company-wide learning-content units and documentations – context-sensitively – into the SAP Business Suite, so that this help can be used precisely in the place where it is needed.
