Luminetx Launches VeinViewer Locator

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Luminetx Corp. today launched an online tool to help consumers locate the VeinViewer nearest them, which will help connect these patients more quickly to Luminetx VeinViewer clients. This announcement comes as Luminetx launches its “10 out of 10 people prefer less pain” campaign, and the ability to reach as many new patients as possible and link them with convenient VeinViewer locations is a part of that.

Named the VeinViewer Locator, the online tool allows consumers to visit www.luminetx.com and input their ZIP code to create a report of health care facilities owning a VeinViewer closest to their geographic position. According to company officials, Luminetx invested in this functionality to more closely align the needs of the patient with client facilities that have adopted VeinViewer technology as a “better way” to venous access. In a recent study of 100 patients, VeinViewer showed an 80 percent first-stick success rate compared to 49.5 percent without it.

With the tool, consumers can select a “radius in miles” option to further specialize their search. The immediately generated report lists the closest VeinViewer client entities, their addresses, contact information and an Internet map link to each. If no facilities within a search are available, they can download information about VeinViewer and send an e-mail to let their local institution know they want this technology. For the institution that has VeinViewer, this allows new patient referrals to find their way to their doors.
