Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Announces New Board Members

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ), an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, today announced the election of two new members, Thomas Conklin Rothe, M.D. and Richard H. Dozer, to its board of directors.

Dr. Rothe has been a physician with La Cholla Family Practice in Tucson since 1982. He is Chairman of Physician Quality Assurance Committee and a board member of the Medical Executive Committee at Northwest Medical Center since 2000. He is also a board member of Arizona Community Physicians, a large primary care physician group in Pima County.

Richard H. Dozer is president of the Phoenix GenSpring Family Office, a wealth management firm.

Before joining GenSpring, Dozer was the president of the Arizona Diamondbacks from 1995-2006. He is on the board of directors for many Arizona organizations including Teach for America, Greater Phoenix Economic Council and the Phoenix Valley of the Sun Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
