Applied Materials Announces Cash Dividend

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 2005--Applied Materials, Inc. today announced that its board of directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.03 per share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on December 8, 2005 to stockholders of record as of November 17, 2005.
