Allegheny Power is Best in Northeast Region According to Large Industrial Customers
GREENSBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the fifth consecutive year, large commercial and industrial customers have rated Allegheny Power, the electric delivery business of Allegheny Energy, Inc. (NYSE:AYE), as the leader in customer satisfaction among utilities in the northeastern United States, according to TQS Research.
Allegheny also ranks third out of the 60 largest investor-owned utilities in the nation, reinforcing its status as a leader in customer satisfaction among electric utilities in the United States.
According to Joe Ellis, President of TQS Research, “Allegheny Energy improved in every area that was measured, and was in the top 10 nationally in six of the seven ranking criteria.” These criteria are price, reliability, energy efficiency programs, power quality, account representative performance, handling inquiries, and image.

Earlier this year, Allegheny placed in the top quartile of the 29 largest U.S. investor owned utilities according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).
