Doug Michelman, Former Visa Communications Chief, Will Join Firm as Partner and Head Up Office

Doug Michelman, former Chief Communications Officer and Global Head of Corporate Relations of Visa, Inc. who was most recently a senior advisor to RLM Finsbury, has been named a Partner and will lead the new office.

Mr. Michelman, who is based in San Francisco, is a seasoned global communications leader with decades of experience managing high profile corporate reputations and complex business and financial announcements. While at Visa, he led the global corporate relations function and oversaw all corporate relations activities, including its IPO. Prior to Visa, Mr. Michelman served as Regional President and Senior Partner of Fleishman-Hillard, where he managed its West Coast operations. In addition to various roles at Fleishman-Hillard both in the U.S. and internationally, his extensive communications experience also includes staff positions in the press office for two presidential campaigns. He holds a B. A. in Political Science from Duke University.
