HKTDC: From Energy Management at Home to Dazzling Smartphone Cases – Hong Kong at the IFA in Berlin
FRANKFURT, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At this year’s IFA 18 Hong Kong companies will be exhibiting on a joint stand organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). From September 5 to 10 they will be presenting their products ranging from practical household appliances to healthcare products and consumer electronics to accessories in Hall 26c (Stand 800).
Electronics made up 59 per cent of total Hong Kong exports last year (2012:58 per cent). At USD 271 billion, the metropolis achieved an export growth of nearly 7 per cent in 2013. This growth also continued in the first seven months of 2014 (USD 157 billion, + 5.2 per cent). The highest percentage in the export of electronic parts and equipment came from semiconductors and electronic components followed by telecommunications equipment and parts.

More than 4,100 manufacturers will be on show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from October 13 to 16, 2014.
