Atigeo Bolsters Executive Team with Additions of Ellen McDermott as Chief Information Security Officer and Scott Mahan as Chief Financial Officer
BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Atigeo™, a compassionate technology company, today announced two distinguished technology industry veterans joined its executive team. Ellen McDermott, formerly of Microsoft and JPMorgan Chase, joins Atigeo as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Scott Mahan, formerly of BSQUARE, joins as Chief Financial Officer.

McDermott offers more than 25 years of security experience designing, developing and operating security components and integrated solutions for distributed computing systems and devices. She was also formerly the CISO at JPMorgan Chase, where McDermott built and led a security team through the JPMorgan and Chase merger as well as the rebuild after the devastation of 9/11. Later McDermott joined Microsoft, where she led a companywide audit feature effort to enable Microsoft products to meet compliance rules and regulations, as well as laying the foundation to combat zero day attacks.

Mahan is a seasoned finance and operations executive with a background in software and public accounting, working with both public and private companies. He has considerable business transaction experience including capital raising, M&A and deal structuring. Most recently Mahan served as SVP Operations and CFO at BSQUARE, a leading enabler of smart, connected systems. Prior to that, Mahan also held roles at Xylo, Qpass, Sequel Technology, Spry, Paccar and Ernst & Young.
