CCAGW PAC ENDORSES FLORIDA CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATES
Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsements of four members of the Florida congressional delegation for re-election to the House of Representatives: Reps. Ron DeSantis (R), Jeff Miller (R), Dennis Ross (R), and Steve Southerland (R). CCAGW PAC based its endorsements on each candidate’s score in CCAGW’s 2013 Congressional Ratings. Each of these candidates is a “Taxpayer Hero” with a lifetime rating of 85 percent or greater.
With a score of 96 percent, Rep. DeSantis has the highest lifetime rating of the four candidates. Rep. Miller has a lifetime rating of 92 percent, Rep. Ross has a lifetime rating of 87 percent, and Rep. Southerland has a lifetime rating of 85 percent. If re-elected, Rep. Miller would be serving his eighth congressional term, Reps. Southerland and Ross would be serving their third, and Rep. DeSantis would be serving his second.
“The courageous actions of each of these public servants has helped cut wasteful spending, reduce taxes, and make government more accountable and transparent to taxpayers,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz. “I urge Floridians to vote for Reps. DeSantis, Miller, Ross and Southerland on Nov. 4 so they can return to Washington, D.C. and continue to protect the interests of both their constituents and all Americans.”
CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization. CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
