Illinois Technology Association Recognizes Infogix, Inc. as Leading Technology Innovator in Chicago
Company named finalist in the 15th Annual ITA CityLIGHTS Award honoring innovative companies and individuals in IT
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) selected Infogix, Inc. as a finalist for the association’s 2014 ITA CityLIGHTS “Lighthouse” award. Infogix, Inc. is a multinational pioneer in data integrity and analytics solutions, uniting predictive analytics with comprehensive data controls, allowing enterprises to transform insight into action and accelerate business growth. With Infogix, enterprises extract the full value of their data. ITA will announce the winners in each of the eight categories at its ITA CityLIGHTS Awards reception on Thursday, Sept. 18 at Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago.
“We’re in good company among this group of finalists, and we look forward to connecting with our peers and fellow nominees at the September 18 event.”
The Lighthouse award is presented to a growth-stage company, who is transforming the marketplace through innovation in products, services or business approach. The nomination comes at a time of significant growth for the company, including its 2014 acquisition of Agilis International, an innovative leader of customer and operational business analytics, which builds upon Infogix’s capabilities in the increasingly complex data management marketplace.
“Infogix is honored that the judges of the 15th Annual ITA CityLIGHTS Awards recognized our product innovation and achievements by selecting us as a finalist for this year’s ITA Lighthouse award. We realize the need to continue to innovate and meet changing data needs for our customers, and this award recognizes these efforts,” said Sumit Nijhawan, CEO at Infogix. “We’re in good company among this group of finalists, and we look forward to connecting with our peers and fellow nominees at the September 18 event.”
Each year, ITA CityLIGHTS attracts more than 600 people from 400 organizations including business owners, investors, legislators and policymakers.
The public can contribute to the selection of this year’s winners by voting from Aug. 19 – Sept. 8 at itacitylights.com. Winners will be determined by composite score (50 percent judges; 50 percent community voting) in all categories except the CityLIGHTS Award, which is determined solely by the ITA Board of Directors.
A panel of accomplished judges reviewed nominations to select the finalists. This year’s judges hail from major organizations including Fieldglass, Google, HERE, Orbitz and World Business Chicago. The list of past winners includes Gogo, Groupon, NAVTEQ, and Braintree, among others.
“Even after 15 years, I am still in awe of the caliber of finalists and companies we get to celebrate each year,” said ITA CEO Fred Hoch. “Our CityLIGHTS program is about raising the bar for the future of Chicago tech and I’m proud to say it gets a little higher and harder every year – sky’s the limit for Infogix as far as I’m concerned.”
