Trade Show Executive Names Two SmithBucklin Client Organizations’ Trade Shows to Gold 100 List
SmithBucklin is the Only Association Management Company with Shows on the List
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Two SmithBucklin client organizations’ trade shows have been named to the Trade Show Executive (TSE) Gold 100 List, the publication announced July 25. Listed among the 100 trade shows that “set the gold standard for major exhibitions,” the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) and the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) will be saluted during TSE’s annual awards ceremony Oct. 23 in Dana Point, Calif.
“We’re thrilled to be named to TSE’s Gold 100 again”
SmithBucklin, the association management company more organizations turn to than any other, partners with IBIE and NAFEM to manage their trade shows. It is the only association management company with client organizations listed in the Gold 100.
“It is an honor to serve these two tremendous organizations,” said Carol McGury, executive vice president, Event and Education Services. “This recognition highlights the continued growth of these dynamic industry events.”
IBIE’s triennial event showcases baking technology trends and brings together the entire grain-based industry with displays of equipment, ingredients, technology and business services. Convened in Las Vegas in October 2013, the 500,000-net-square-foot event attracted nearly 20,000 baking professionals and 700 exhibiting companies.
“We’re thrilled to be named to TSE’s Gold 100 again,” said Pat Dwyer, senior manager, Event Services, SmithBucklin. IBIE also was recognized in 2007 and 2010. “Our exhibitors and attendees continue to raise the bar for baking technology and innovation, and we strive to meet that challenge at every event.”
Occupying over 315,000 net square feet, The NAFEM Show saw attendance of 20,000 foodservice professionals at its biennial February 2013 show in Orlando. More than 500 manufacturers presented products for food preparation, cooking, storage and table service.
